LMMS is a free open source 'beat making' software similar to FL studio. LMMS Website https://lmms.io/download/#windows. Now LMMS stands for Linux MultiMedia Studio, but it has Windows version as well. It is a free alternative to software like FL Studio (formerly FruityLoops) and has all features you could possibly need in such software, including support for VST and LADSPA. Heres one tune made with LMMS. Open source is well established in cloud infrastructure, web hosting, embedded devices, and many other areas. Fewer people know that open source is a great option for producing professional-level audio-visual materials.
